BROWNING - Lorraine Alma (Bennett) Triplett, 74, died of cancer Friday at Bigfork Nursing Home.
Rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday at Glacier Home Center. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at Little Flower Catholic Church, with burial in Willow Creek Cemetery. Pondera Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lorraine was born Aug. 31, 1936, to Noble Charles Bennett Sr. and Nancy YellowOwl Bennett. She attended Cut Bank Boarding School until sixth grade. She then went to Browning for junior high and high school.
She is survived by her daughters, Helen Triplett, Sharon Running Wolf (children Gale Jr. and Tara), and Nancy (Wade) Triplett; son Patrick (Carrie) Triplett (children Matt and Katy); sister Shirley (Donald) LittleDog and family; Shirley's twin brother, Roy Bennett and his family; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel StillSmoking Jr., and her second husband, Harry Triplett; sons Floyd Allen StillSmoking, Darrell Lee StillSmoking, Joe Triplett and Jeffrey Fitzgerald Triplett; siblings Freda Mildred Bennett Sandervill, Thelma Bennett Gulbranson, Noble Charles Bennett Jr., Charles Bennett and Earl Bennett Sr.
