Henry was born June 27, 1930, to Henry and Blanche (Beaulieu) St. Onge in Lowell, Mass., where he was raised and educated.

Following the death of his father, he needed to go to work at a young age. He delivered groceries and worked various jobs, including the railroad, before he entered the U.S. Air Force. He continued to work civil service at the commissary until he retired in 1993.

He married Maryanne Cox on November 1952 in Great Falls. Maryanne and Ray had four children together. Maryanne passed away April 20, 1978, after 26 years of marriage.

Henry was a lifetime member of the Elk Lodge and was with the drum and bugle corps.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to cook for everyone. No one came to his home without him fixing food for them.
