VALIER Glen Steven Monroe, 55, of Valier, died of complication from a heart attack Friday, Nov. 23, at a Great Falls Hospital.



Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. today at Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Valier with burial to follow in Lake View Cemetery.



Glen was born at Conrad Aug. 28, 1957, to Paul & Mable (King) Monroe. Raised on the family farm near Valier and graduated from high school there in 1957. He then attended Helena Voc. Tech. for a while.



He farmed until 2004, and has worked for Front Line Ag since that time.



Glen enjoyed fishing and golfing, but mostly he loved socializing with his many, many friends.



Survivors include his sisters Helen (Joe) Suta of Shelby and Evelyn (Don) Mero of McMinnville, Ore.; brother Ed Monroe of Valier; nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents.
