BROWNING Tara Lee "Putt Putt" Chippewa Candelaria, 39, a homemaker, died of organ failure Saturday, Jan. 26, at Benefis Health System.
A wake is in progress through Friday at her sister, Brenda Many Hides' residence, 736 Low Rent Red Blanket in Browning. The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at the Many Hides' residence, with burial to follow in Many Hides Family Cemetery. Pondera Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Sierra Rose Chippewa Candelaria and Billy Joe Chance Newton Jr., both of Sheboygan, Wisc.; parents David and Marilyn (Many Hides) Chippewa of Great Falls; brothers Edward TwoTeeth Jr. of Browning, Bevin Todd Chippewa, Robert Brand Chippewa and James Jim Chippewa all of Great Falls and Sylvester Wayne Hameline of Deer Lodge; sisters Annie Many Hides Burnside and Shannon Chippewa both of Great Falls, Brenda Many Hides KickingWoman of Browning and Echo Chippewa of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Newton Sr.
