SHELBY Delores Ann Pogreba, 72, of Shelby, a retired day care provider, died of breast cancer Tuesday, March 26, at her home.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Whitted Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys Nyberg of Great Falls; sons Jeff Olson of Las Vegas and Jay (Jenell) Pogreba of Conrad; the loves of her life grandchildren, Kantor and Zoey Pogreba; sister Gloria (Jack) Keller of Great Falls; brothers Bobby Olson of Dillon and Gary (Lucy) Olson of Newport News, Va.; and special friend, Catherine Snyder and family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Orvin Olson; husband Bud Pogreba; and brother Orlean Olson.
She was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Langdon, N.D., to Orvin and Gladys (Knutsen) Olson and raised and educated in Shelby. She married Robert (Bud) Pogreba on Feb. 1, 1974, in Great Falls.
Over the years, Delores worked as a waitress at the Sports Club and Evans Supper Club, but she was best known for being a day care provider for more than 33 years.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing bingo, cards, camping and traveling.
In honor of breast cancer awareness, all are encouraged (but not required) to wear pink to the service.
