GLENDALE, ARIZ. Jerry Lynch, 69, who was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Great Falls, died of pancreatic cancer Wednesday, April 3, in Glendale, Ariz.

There will be graveside services later this summer in Great Falls for family and friends to remember Jerry in a private ceremony at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Jerry attended Our Lady of Lourdes grade school and graduated from Great Falls Central in 1962. Jerry then attended and graduated from North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D.
He worked for the city of Great Falls on a survey crew and in the drafting department of the engineer's office. After 10 years, Jerry joined the Montana Highway Department in Helena, working in the road design and contracting department until his retirement in 2000.
Jerry had many interests. He enjoyed following the sports scene, both locally and nationally, especially Notre Dame football and the Phoenix Coyote hockey team of the National Hockey League. He also enjoyed fishing, astronomy and travel in the U.S.
While in Helena, Jerry was active in the Elks and was twice the Exalted Ruler of BPOE #193.
In 2010, he moved to the sunshine of Arizona, settling in Glendale.
He is survived by brothers Dick (Pat) of Tacoma, Wash., and Leo of Auburn, Wash.; special friend, Nancy Miller of Glendale; niece Rita (Erik) Rich and nephew Patrick, both of Seattle.
Jerry was preceded in death by parents Cornelius Joseph and Doris Lucille (Fisher) Lynch.
