Lumaye, Deloris (Panure)
Deloris (Panure) Lumaye, 98, Green Bay, passed away January 14, 2014. Born on November 19, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Schott) Panure. She married Leo Lumaye on April 28, 1937, at Saints Peter and Paul Church and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1987. Deloris and Leo enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Arizona. She lived in the town of Pembine for twenty-eight years after Leo retired. When family came she always had great meals and was a great baker. Deloris was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards, fishing, and camping.
Deloris is survived by her one daughter and two sons-in-law, Judy (Ira) Ferrier of Green Bay, and Leon (Donna) Behnke of Abrams; five grandchildren, Joseph (Trudy), Curtis (Melanie) and Gene Ferrier and friend, Tammy, Rochelle (Jim) Bursa and Aaron (Rhonda) Behnke; six great grandchildren, Kevin and Amanda Ferrier, Amber Clark, Brett and Danielle Bursa, and Connor Behnke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Merle Lumaye, Jean Lumaye, Gerald (Florence) Lumaye, Beverly Lumaye, Sandy Lumaye, Harold (Judy) Lumaye, James Lumaye, Mary (Lawrence) Conard, Nora Ripley, Sister Gerald Lumaye, Mildred (Lawrence) Jandrin, Ann Zeimet, Carol Rose, and Joyce Berndt; four god-children; sister Gerald, John "Jackie" Jacobs, Michael Lumaye, Milton Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; daughter, Patricia Behnke; four sisters, Clara (Henry) Jacobs, Dorothy (George) Van Ess, Eunice (Lawrence) Marin, and Joyce (Royal) Capelle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry (Vallie) Lumaye, Melvin (Betty) Lumaye, Joseph Lumaye, Norbert (Blanche) Lumaye, Maurice Lumaye, Lawrence Lumaye, Isadore Lumaye, Bernard (Beverly) Lumaye, August Lumaye, Henry Lumaye, Lillian (John) Derenne, Ralph Zeimet, Alice Lumaye, and Patricia Lumaye.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home University Ave. at Baird Street, Friday from 4 PM until 8 PM. Prayer service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 AM with Rev. Anthony Cirignani OFM officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chaple Mausoleum. Delores was one of my favorite residents. I loved the way she always stuck her tongue out at me. she had the most beautiful smile. she will be missed by all the staff at bnh. I loved her a lot. she will be in my heart forever.
