Horick, Anna Marie
Anna Marie Horick, 94 of 121 W. Second St. Gillett, Wis., passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Woodlands in Gillett. Anna, the daughter of the late Joseph and Hattie (Brosig) Horick was born Nov. 10, 1917 in Gillett, Wis. She worked at the Gillett State Bank as a secretary for over 30 years. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the ladies aid and member of the altar society. Anna enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, painting, bingo and while living at home tending to flower gardens. She is survived by distant cousins and many special friends including one very special friend, Jim Sorensen.
Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Gillett. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. John's Catholic Church. Father David Barrett and Sister Marla Clercx officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery in Green Bay. Kuehl Funeral Home (920)855-2144 is serving the family. Ann Horick was a dear, dear lady. I worked with her for three years at the Gillett State Bank in the 60's. She always had a smile and a kind word. It was my pleasure to have known her! Rest in Peace, Ann! Chris Chambers Ritter
