Deprey, David M. David M. Deprey, 64, Dyckesville, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 23, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, following a year long battle with Pancreatic cancer. He was born June 30, 1951, at Algoma Hospital to Arlene G. (DeGrave) Deprey and the late Donald H. Deprey. On April 22, 1972, he married Julie A. Renier at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Following high school Dave enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves serving a term of four years. He was employed with the Kewaunee County Highway Department until retirement. His enjoyments included: fishing, hunting, playing cards and loved to watch high school wrestling and softball, but most of all spending precious time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Julie and their three children, Rachael (Bob) Jonet, Luxemburg; Ryan (Amy) Deprey, Pulaski; Nikki (Jonah) Lenss, Dyckesville; he was "Papa David" to seven grandchildren, Tori Jonet, Cole Jonet, Aria Deprey, Rylan Deprey, Rayd Deprey, Charlotte Lenss, Eleanor Lenss; his mother, Arlene Deprey, Casco; one brother, Dennis (Deborah) Deprey, New Franken; one sister, Debbie (Pat) Weidner, Casco; his father-in-law, Elmer Renier, Dyckesville; five brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Cathy (Larry) Dart, Patti (Robert) Jacques, all of Dyckesville; John (Julie) Renier, New Franken; Bill Renier, Dyckesville; Dan Renier, Green Bay; numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Donald; his mother-in-law, Marie Renier; one sister-in-law, Chris Renier; one infant niece and two infant nephews. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015. Closing parish prayer service 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Visitation will continue between 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday the 27th at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. . Dave faced a very difficult battle with great courage during his last moments with us. His grandchildren gave him great joy and Dave will be witnessing the birth of his eighth grandchild from Heaven. The Family wishes to thank the staff of Green Bay Oncology especially Dr. Brian Burnette, St. Vincent Hospital 8th Floor, especially, Abby and Brittney for taking such great care of Dave.
