Steinfeldt, Andrew N. "Toby"

Andrew N. "Toby" Steinfeldt, 88, Green Bay, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, after battling a lengthy illness. He was born May 25, 1926, in De Pere to Andrew and Josephine Steinfeldt.

Toby served his country in the U.S. Army and fought during the Korean War. He married Elaine Alice Williquette and she preceded him in death on Thanksgiving Day, November 9, 2000.

Toby loved the outdoors. He enjoyed trout fishing, deer hunting, and golfing. He liked to play cribbage, do small repairs and yard work. Toby will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Toby is survived by his son, Alan Steinfeldt and his special friend, Kim Peschke; three grandchildren, Gabriel Steinfeldt (special friend, Sara), Stephanie Steinfeldt (fiancé, Patrick), and Sara Steinfeldt; three great-grandchildren, Keagan, Briella, and Liam; sisters, Joan, Lorraine, and Arlene; brother, Ralph; and his sister-in-law, Cala.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, and sisters.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Sr. Toni Jendrasiak, SSND officiating.
