Schoen, Antoinette L.

Antoinette L. (Mancheski) Schoen, 92, Green Bay, died Thursday evening, March 27, 2014. She was born on March 24, 1922 in Denmark to the late Vincent and Mary (Holda) Mancheski. On November 18, 1941 she married Merlin Schoen in Green Bay. Antoinette loved to go dancing. She also enjoyed taking care of her flowers around her house and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Antoinette also liked taking trips with her girlfriends. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

She is survived by her four sons, Richard (Jayne), Green Bay; Donald (Pam), Denmark; Dennis (Linda), De Pere; and Darrell (Karen), New Franken; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence Mancheski, Denmark; Ferdinand Mancheski, Madison; sister, Dorothy Matulka, Nebraska; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin; sisters, Anna Mancheski-Steinfeldt; Gertrude Rabas; brothers, Edwin Mancheski; Leonard Mancheski; Felix Mancheski; and Donald Mancheski.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev.
