Cathryn J. "Kitty" Weinfurter

Cathryn J."Kitty" Weinfurter, 83, of Sheboygan, formerly of Green Bay, passed away at home

from natural causes on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

Kitty was born February 18, 1930 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to the late Norton E. "Doc" and Cathryn (Wolfe) Masterson. She graduated from high school in Stevens Point and then attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, graduating in 1951. Kitty was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Weinfurter on June 20,1953. Kitty loved football and was a devoted Green Bay Packer fan. Kitty enjoyed many activities especially sports such as golf and tennis and was a member of Onieda Golf and Riding Club. After moving to Austin, Texas, Kitty became a tennis referee and worked her way up to the U.S.Open in Flushing Meadow, New York. Kitty and Wayne enjoyed a yearly vacation to Sayner, Wisconsin. After moving back to Land O'Lakes, Kitty worked at Lac Veiux Desert Casino, first as a blackjack dealer and then as a marketing manager.She continued in her fathers footsteps as a Rotarian in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. After she retired Kitty loved to go and play at various casinos around the state and country. Kitty had a real zest for life and was very proud of her family, especially her granddaughter and grandson.

Kitty is survived by her four sons, Erich Weinfurter, St. Francisville, LA, Kurt (Barb) Weinfurter, Sheboygan,WI, Karl (Lynn) Weinfurter Overland Park, KS, Hans (Carisa) Weinfurter Milsford, NJ, a granddaughter Elise Weinfurter St. Francisville, LA a grandson Brock Weinfurter, Overland Park, KS and a step granddaughter Hope Sendra of Silver Spring, MD. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Mary Weinfurter St. Francisville, LA and a sister Meridith Masterson Palatine,IL.

Private family services will be held with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Land O'Lakes, WI.
