Kusiak, Chester John
Chester John Kusiak, 83, Denmark, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home. He was born to the late Stanley and Margaret (Wyrigaard) Kusiak on December 27, 1929 in the Town of Eaton. He served his country for 6 years in the United States Navy
, and worked most of his life for area farmers. He married Clara M. Lichterman on October 19, 1957 in Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; two sons, Chester Jr. and Curtis; daughter, Cynthia A. Kusiak; granddaughter, Tasha (Brad) Miller; three great-grandchildren: Ethan, Kiara, and Collon; four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Gertie (Joe) Wichlacz, Terry and Eugene Goessel, Virgie Reigner, and Esther Olson; five brothers-in-law and spouses: Joe (Jean), Tony, Al (Barb), Mike (Sandy) and Dale (Debbie) Lichterman; two sisters-in-law and husband: Dory Gerard and Mary (Gary) Brault; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Chester was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Mary Kusiak; four brothers: Ed, Wally, and Jimmy Kusiak, and Robert Holda; one sister, Elsie Cywinski; eight brothers-in-law; three nephews; and three nieces.
Family and friends may call Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark. Funeral Service will be at 4:00 p.m., with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating.
