Doris C. Knapp, 86, Green Bay resident, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at a local hospital following a brief illness. She was born December 18, 1925 in Green Bay to the late Felix and Barbara (Verheyden) Watermolen. Doris married Robert Knapp on December 12, 1945 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death in 1971. She was employed at the Prange-Way store from when it opened on Green Bay's East side, and remained as an employee for over 25 years until her retirement. Doris was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish.
She is survived by her three daughters: Carol Buerschinger; Cathy (Bob) Wozniak; Debbie (Joe) Theisen, all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two brothers, Ray (Jeanette) Watermolen and Gene Watermolen, all of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Francis Watermolen.
Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin Avenue after 10 a.m. Monday, until the time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00a.m. Monday at the church with Fr.
