Ronski, Dorothy A.
Dorothy A. Ronski, went to live with her heavenly Father on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born March 9, 1921, in the town of Neenah.
She married Joseph P. Ronski, on September 10, 1938. Together they raised nine children, mainly in the Green Bay area. After Joe's death she went to work for the Green Bay School system as a baker at Lombardi Junior High School. She worked there for about five years and then worked at Country Kitchen (West) for four years.
In 1980, Dorothy moved to the Washington D.C. area to live with her daughter. While there, she worked at Hardee's for about three years and volunteered at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. She later moved back to Green Bay and resided at Badger Terrace Apartments until September of 2012, when she moved to San Luis Nursing Home.
Dorothy is survived by six daughters and two sons, Mary (Larry) Stordeur, Green Bay; Josie Van Den Heuvel, Green Bay; Donna (Bill) Haack, Pleasant Prairie; Irene Fails, Fond du Lac; John Ronski, Wausau; Margaret (Chris) Vande Hei, Green Bay; Daniel Ronski, Plainfield, IL; and Christine Webster, Green Bay; 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Ronski; a son, James J. Ronski; and four grandchildren, Anne Marie Van Den Heuvel, Mark J. Van Den Heuvel, Michael D. Haack, and Dennis L. Vande Hei.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Howard (one quarter mile east of the corner of Glendale Ave. and Cardinal Lane), from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
