Falk, Eric Francis
Eric Francis Falk, 54, a lifelong Green Bay resident, died peacefully Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his home with his wife at his side, after a long and courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease. He was born January 16, 1959, in Green Bay to Richard and Marlene (Grady) Falk.
Eric graduated from Premontre High School in 1977. On November, 16, 2007, he married Betty Fischer. Eric was employed for many years with Falk Carpet Service, originally with his dad and continued as owner/operator with his brother and sister. He loved fishing, nature, animals, his dogs, Millie and Jet, and spending time at his cottage. Eric had a heart of gold and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends between his fishing trips. He also loved snow skiing and water skiing.
Eric is survived by his wife, Betty (Fischer) Falk; a step-son, Christopher Falk; a grandson, Cayden; his parents, Richard and Marlene Falk; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Julie (Michael) Mackin, Brian Falk, Michelle (Dave) Falk-Baron, Jeanie (Guy) Donart; his special uncles and an aunt, Dr. Jim and Gwen Falk, Rev. Jerry Falk, Rev. Bob Falk; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Richard; his paternal grandparents, Manual and Alice Falk; and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Irene Grady.
Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon Saturday at the church, with Rev.
