Evelyn "Evie" (Gajeski) Dahlke, 91, Green Bay, passed away with her family surrounding on Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was born on September 11, 1922 to the late Anton and Gertrude (Humpfner) Gajeski. On August 9, 1939 she married Robert Dahlke.

Evie tended bar for several years and then worked for Reliance Printing and then Vanlanen Printing until her retirement. She enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, cooking for her family and gardening. Evie was a longtime member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Don (Mary) Dahlke; daughter-in-law, Rita Dahlke; grandchildren, Diane (Kerry) Carmody, Paul (Michelle) Dahlke, David Dahlke, Pam (Mitchell) Musial, Keith (Samantha) Dahlke and Dan Dahlke; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Gajeski, Clark (Ann) Gajeski, Ken (Annette) Gajeski and Jerry (Betty) Gajeski; sisters, Ethel Hansford, Mary Ann (Ralph) Watzka and Rita Greatens; sister-in-law, Bernice Gronnert; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dahlke; son, Dale Dahlke; sisters, Marcella (Bernie) Thompson and Arleen Gajeski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Otto and Bertha Dahlke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony (Angie) Gajeski and Jack (Elaine) Gajeski; brothers-in-law, Bill Hansford, Don Greatens, Orin (Agnes) Dahlke; sisters-in-law, Marge Gajeski and Ethel (Winfred) Gruwald.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Sunday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthew St., from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
