Tesch, James "Jim" C.

James "Jim" C. Tesch, 67, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He was born on February 23, 1946 in Medford, Wisconsin to the late Carl and Joyce (Martello) Tesch. Jim married Mary (Jackson) Gilow on March 29, 1992.

Jim started in the restaurant business at the age of 16. Jim worked for the Bilotti family for many years. He always said, "Everything I learned about the restaurant business I learned from the Bilotti's." He also taught restaurant and hospitality classes at NWTC. Jim achieved his lifelong goal of opening his own restaurant, Tesch's Bistro, and worked until the time of his stroke in 2002. Jim enjoyed golfing, traveling and being with people.

Surviving are his loving wife of 21 years, Mary; his children, James Tesch, Joseph (Lisa) Tesch, Trisha (Brad) Brodbeck, Martin Gilow, Amy Gilow; five grandchildren, Matthew, Sydney, Nolan, Avery and Parker; two sisters, Linda (Patrick) Catlin, Nancy (John) Bowers. Jim is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Reverend Paul Demuth officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
