Janice M. Renier, 69, Howard, died peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born October 31, 1944, in Green Bay to Willard and Lucy (Jandrin) Vincent.
Janice married James Renier on May 29, 1965, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. She and her artist friends started Riverside Studio Painters where she spent many hours socializing and creating many beautiful pieces that she shared with her family. Janice worked in the Human Resource Department at NWTC and made many great friends there. She always had a smile on her face. Janice loved gardening with flowers and cake decorating. She cherished going on vacations with her family. Most of all, Janice loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, starting with her munchkin and crayfishing partner, "Tia Mia" .
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, whom she never really trained, James; her children and their spouses, Paul and Rose Renier, Dan and Brenda Renier, Gwen and Gary Hilbert, Renee and Larry Shagen; grandchildren, Tia, Byron, Peyton, Michael, Paige, Nathanael "Nate", Madelyn "Madie"; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane Marchant, and Nancy and James Stone; sister-in-law, Susan Renier; special aunt, Emily Vandertie; uncle, Emil Jandrin; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as special loving and caring friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, Ron Marchant and Denis Renier.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
