Wallace, John A.

John Wallace, 94, Green Bay, died on Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was born March 24, 1918, in Chicago to the late Henry and Angeline (Novitski) Wallace. On June 14, 1941, he married Grace Eisenreich at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Isaar.

John had been employed by FMC (Hudson- Sharp) for over 45 years. He was active in Toastmasters International for over 50 years, holding several positions. John was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and was associated with Northeast Technical College being on several committees.

Survivors include his son, John Jr. (Linda) Wallace, Sewickley, PA; daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Bartell, Beaver Dam; Bonita Wallace, Bolingbrook, IL; Teresa (Richard Abbott) Wallace, New Boston, NH; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Bushmaker, WA; Violet (Robert) Lurquin, Sun Prairie; brothers Chester Wallace, Green Bay; Lloyd Wallace, Waupun; Henry Jr. (Diane) Wallace, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Grace; great- grandson, John Andrew; sister, Emma (Jack) Munro; brothers, Joseph and Richard Wallace; sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Henry) Letter, Bernice (Cyril) Letter, Betty Wallace; brothers-in-law, Carl (Rosalie) Eisenreich and Louis Bushmaker.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. There will be a parish wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Rev.
