Joseph Ozarowicz(1933 - 2013)

Joseph E. Ozarowicz age 80, Amberg resident passed away on February 19, 2013. He was born to the late Paul and Anna (Lipski) Ozarowicz February 17, 1933 in Green Bay, WI. Joe married the former Jackie O'Leary at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Church on June 16th 1951. Joe retired from Northern Paper Mill on April 1, 1994 after 43 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War in the Artillery Division from February 21, 1953 to March 7, 1955. Joe was a Member of the Elks Club, Friendly Neighbors Club and Equity Hall where he loved to dance. Joe was a true Packer Fan and loved his trout fishing. His greatest joy was his wife Jackie working in their flower gardens, loved all the wildlife especially the birds at his home. He truly lived for the love of his life (Jackie) for 43 years. Surviving are his sister Mary DeBauche, Sister-in-law Betty Ozarowicz and LaVerne Ozarowicz. Sister-in-law Joanne (Richard) Schoen, Jeanne O'Leary, Penny Rondeau; Jan De Wan, Lois O'Leary and Marcia O'Leary and Lu Anne O'Leary. Brother-in-law Richard Schoen, James, Jerry and Joseph O'Leary and other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, 5 brothers John, Ray, Leo, Andy and Eddie Ozarowicz. Sister Julia Sobieski and brother-in-law Delmer (Slim) DeBauche, also Joe's Mother and Father-in-law John and Mary O'Leary and Brother-in-law John O'Leary Jr. According to Joe's wishes there will be no Service. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund will be established in his name. A special thank you to the Wausaukee Rescue Squad and Bay Area Medical Center also Newcare Convalescent Center of Crivitz for taking such good care of Joe. Very special thanks to Tom and Kim and all his wonderful friends at Ranger Family Retaurant. We will all miss you dearly Joe, we love you Joanne and Richard.
