Killian, Joyce Marie (Berg)

Joyce Marie (Berg) Killian, 62, Hobart, passed away suddenly at home, Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Joyce was born May 8, 1950, in Green Bay, to Raymond and Faith Berg. She was the oldest of eight children. Joyce was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where she earned her teaching degree. She was currently a second grade teacher at Martin Luther King Elementary School.

On July 29, 1972, Joyce married Robert Killian and together they had four children. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. She was especially close to her grandchildren, Lexi, Luke and Jay. Joyce also had a special relationship with her dog, Stewie. Joyce enjoyed reading, especially late night, doing crossword puzzles, schoolwork, and fishing with her husband, Bob. She was looking forward to her retirement where she and Bob planned to spend "fishing" on their boat.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert; her daughters, Dawn Killian, Leigh Anne Killian (Michael Mathes) and their children, Alexis Joyce and Lucas Robert; her sons, Greg Killian and his child, JJ, Paul Killian (Nicole), all of Green Bay; her parents, Raymond and Faith Berg; her sisters and brother, Mary (Terry) LaPacz, Barb (Dave) Brandtner, Connie (Art) LeClercq, Michael (Brenda) Berg, Angela (Dan) Thompson, Colleen (Wayne) Kiernan; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Dawn C. Berg.
