Judy Liesner, 65, Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Pulaski, died peacefully Monday morning, May 5, 2014, at a Green Bay nursing home. The daughter of Joann "Jenny" (Blasczyk) and the late Roman Kowalkowski, Sr. was born February 28, 1949. She had lived in the Sturgeon Bay area for the past 20 years. Judy was a hard worker and she had a good and generous heart.

Survivors include two daughters, Annette, Boston, Mass.; and Mary, St. Louis, MO.; mother, Joann Kowalkowski, Pulaski; one sister, Alice (Lloyd) Przybylski, Zachow; three brothers: Don (Jan) Kowalkowski, Krakow; Roman (Sharon) Kowalkowski, Jr., Green Bay; and Tony (Diane) Kowalkowski, Lena; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roman Kowalkowski, Sr., in 1991; two brothers: Roger and Ted; and one niece, Nicole Kowalkowski.

Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, Fr. Bob Konkol, O.F.M., presiding, with burial in the parish cemetery.
