Kenneth W. O'Dell, 86, Green Bay, died Sunday, February 16, 2014, at a local hospital. He was born August 4, 1927, in Green Bay to Carl and Mabel (Brown) O'Dell.

Ken served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. On June 14, 1952, Ken was united in marriage to Joyce L. Ferguson at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Kenneth was employed by Hoberg Paper, later Proctor & Gamble as a millwright for 41 years until his retirement in 1987. Kenneth was a longtime member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was an accomplished woodworker. Ken enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Door County.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Stacy O'Dell, New Franken; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Dolly O'Dell, Green Bay; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dennis Demuth, Green Bay; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Dr. Frederick and Joelle Ferguson, State College, PA; Robert and Linda Ferguson, Green Bay; Duane "Jipper" Allard, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and sisters, Carl, Donald, Dorothy, Jerry, Glenn, Jeanne; and two sisters-in-law, Pat and Lois.

Friends may call at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1350 Bond St., from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Amy Engebose officiating.
