Larry Retel, 72, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Christmas morning, December 25, 2012.

Larry served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962. He loved to golf and was always accompanied by his dog, Oscar, who was also a member of the The Woods Golf Course. Larry was a member of the Beja Shriners and the Masonic Lodge in Green Bay. He was a member of the Local 400 Steamfitters Union for many years.

Three months and 8 days after losing his beloved wife, Mona, he decided to join her in God's loving arms to continue their 54 years of marriage; he was also preceded in death by his son, Michael; parents, Tony and Mae Retel; sister, Donna Hejduk; brother, Anthony Retel.

He is survived by his three daughters, Jule DeGrave and her husband Gary, along with their son, Ryne; Amber Theis and her husband Chris, and their three sons, Tim, Zac (Amanda) and Mat; Tonja Gerondale and her husband Dean, and their son, Alex and daughter, Bailey. He is also survived by his two grandchildren from his departed son Michael, Eric and Alyssa, and Eric and Jenny's two children, Michael and Madysn; sister, Joanna (Don) Stevens.
