Leonard "Lenny" Paul, 85, Green Bay resident, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Carrington Manor. He was born June 30, 1927 in Green Bay to the late Louis and Mabel (Freix) Paul. Lenny served in the US Navy from June of 1945 until his honorable discharge in August of 1946. He married the former Lois Klaus on June 30, 1949 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on April 20, 2012. Lenny began his career with the Green Bay Police Department in 1952. He proudly served for over 33 years retiring as Captain in 1985. He was an active member of Prince of Peace Parish.

Leonard is survived by his children: Debby Hunter; Tom (Debbe) Paul; Tina Vernosh; Amy (Daniel) Timm and Tim (Jeri) Paul, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd., after 9:00 am Saturday November 24, 2012 until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday at the church with Rev. Dan Viertel officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. On-line condolences may be sent to Lenny's family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in Leonard's name.

Lenny's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Unity Hospice and especially the staff at Carrington Manor, where they made Lenny so comfortable during his stay.
