Lillian "Lil" M. LeClair, 90, Little Suamico, died Saturday, January 11, 2014. She was born October 11, 1923, in Two Rivers to Edward and Mildred (Van Kylen) Brice.
On April 29, 1944, Lillian married Gordon LeClair at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. She was a member of the Altar Society, Homemakers and Misfits, and volunteered with St. Vincent DePaul for over 25 years. Lillian was a very caring and compassionate woman. She spent much time helping others. Lillian was a wonderful mother, raising ten children and helping with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, square dancing, crocheting, knitting, and ceramics. Lillian was an excellent baker.
She is survived by ten children and their spouses, Gary and Cheryl LeClair, Vermont; Bob and Rose LeClair, Rhinelander; Dave and Mary LeClair, Little Suamico; Mary and Eugene Falk, Abrams; Dick and LuAnn LeClair, Little Suamico; Mike LeClair, Rhinelander; Pat and Bob Roberge, Little Suamico; Alan and Cindy LeClair, De Pere; Brian LeClair and his friend, Lisa, both of Little Suamico; Ann and Scott Fuelle, Little Suamico; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Joan (Bob) Heinzen; brother, Ed (Dorothea) Brice; sister-in-law, Donna Tegan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nick and Jan LeClair; her best friend, Marcella Boeckman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; grandsons, Jake, Matthew, and Jesse; her parents; her sister, Claudine Brice; brothers, (her twin) Louis (Ruth) Brice, Harley (Leonis) Brice, Harold (Sally) Brice, and Milton (Lois) Brice.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 3370 Deerfield West, Suamico, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Fr. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
