Hartl, Linda L.

Linda L. Hartl, 64, Green Bay, passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday evening, December 1, 2012 at a local hospital while surrounded by her family. Born October 20, 1948 in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Hank and Lorraine Lefebvre. Linda married Lawrence "Larry" Hartl on February 13, 1970. She will be remembered for her love of the Packers, gambling, attending craft shows, listening to music, especially Irish music, and as an avid reader. Linda was very devoted to her husband, Larry, through his many health concerns. She assisted her daughter in the raising of her grandchildren which were her pride and joy. Linda was a loving and giving person to all and was affectionately known as "Mama Hartl".

Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry; two sons, John Hartl and Robert "Bob" Hartl; two daughters, Holly Hartl and Natalie Hartl all of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Dominique, Alexis, Victoria and Kaden; brother-in-law, James Madigan of Green Bay; numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Candy Rousseau.

Also preceded in death by one brother, Lee Lefebvre; two sisters-in-law, Doris Madigan and Millie (Lee) Sorenson.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Friday from 10am until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 1pm at the funeral home. Visit to send an online condolence to the family.

Linda's family extends a special thank you to San Luis Manor, especially Lynn for being mom's friend for the last five months; Candy for always being there throughout the years; the staff of St. Vincent Hospital sixth floor, especially Wendy; Dr. Tammela and staff of St. Vincent Oncology; and to the many family members and friends that have been there throughout mom's struggle.

Mom, you were the rock that held our family firm and strong. We will see you again in heaven someday.
