Lorraine (Lorena) M. Pieschek, 94, Green Bay resident, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. She was born May 2, 1918 in the Town of Montpelier, Kewaunee County to Fred and Bertha (Raduenz) Jahnke. Lorraine was baptized on May 19, 1918 and confirmed May 15, 1932 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montpelier, Wisconsin. On August 21, 1937 she married Frank J. Pieschek, in the Town of Eaton. Lorraine was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church for 60 years.
Survivors include four sons, Gene Pieschek, Leon (Mary) Pieschek, Gary (Jean) Pieschek, Alan (Judy) Pieschek and son-in-law, Scott Tedford; Eleven grandchildren, Kevin (Tami) Pieschek, Kim (Scott) Krause, Carrie (Ronald) Voegeli, Kristin (Dean) Holmes, Kory Pieschek, Lisa (Robert) Adams, Scott Pieschek, Eric (Karen) Pieschek, Michelle (llan) Portugali, Jennifer (Andy) VanRemortel, Stacy (James) MacKenzie and twenty-one Great-Grandchildren; two sisters, Elda Duescher, Luxemburg and Delores (Lee) Bucholz, Wayside; two sisters-in-law, Angeline Danelski and Marcella Pieschek.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; and one infant son, Ronald; daughter, Lori Tedford; daughter-in-law, Donna Pieschek; one great grandson, Jessy Pieschek; one brother, Clarence Jahnke and his wife Doris; one sister, Adeline Gaedtke, her husband Reinhardt; brothers-in-law, Earl Zastrow and Orville Duescher; and one Godchild, Geraldine Behnke.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.; Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 120 S. Henry Street. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor Greg Hovland officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd.
