Lucille M. Begotka, 92, of Green Bay, died peacefully on February 11, 2014. She was born on September 7, 1921 to the late Joseph and Frances (Borofka) Van Beek. Lucille loved her family and spending time with them was very important to her. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and visiting rummage sales.
Survivors include her children, Jeanne Neels, James (Linda) Begotka and Julie (James) Seymour; son-in-law, Donald Champeau; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Rita Vanden Bush; sister-in-law, Donna Van Beek; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Van Beek; her husband, Lloyd; a son, Joseph; daughters, Susan and Janet; sisters, Mildred (Orville) Knaus, Evelyn Van Beek and Margaret Van Beek; brothers, Albert (Arlene) Van Beek, Richard Van Beek and Earl (Lillamae) Van Beek; son-in-law, Arlyn Neels; brother-in-law, Harold Vanden Bush.
Friends may call at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. from 9:30 11 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Jose Castaneda officiating.
