De Keyser, Priscella
Priscella "Percy" De Keyser, 70, Green Bay, died Wednesday January 2, 2013. She was born in Green Bay on May 2,1942, to the late Edmund and Rose Mary (Dallas) De Keyser.
Percy dedicated her life as a teacher for the Luxemburg-Casco School District and the Howard-Suamico School District. She was an educator for 33 years until she retired in 1999. She loved and was loved by her students and parents alike. Early in her life, Percy worked in a family business in Pulaski known as "The Sweet Shop", the "Dairy Inn" on Velp Avenue, and as a book keeper for Schneider National. She was an avid photographer, perennial gardener, crafter, traveler, and swimming instructor at the YWCA.
As a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Percy shared her talents as a creator of greeting cards, which enabled the church to make additional donations to "The Feed My Starving Children" organization.
Percy is survived by her three sisters, Rosalyn (Jim) Van Den Busch, Barb (Mike) Gabryszek, Ann (Karl) Kralapp, nieces and nephews; Christine (Boris) Trifunovic, Chris and Greg Gabryszek, Charlie Kralapp, and great niece and nephew; Alex, and Andrea Trifunovic, other relatives and friends. Percy was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 6, at Lyndahl Funeral home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 4-7pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 7, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2700 Babcock Rd., from 10 to 11 am., with funeral services at 11 am with Rev. Bruce Pangborn officiating.
