Raymond W. Huelskamp, 90, of Green Bay, passed away on March 9, 2014. He was born on November 6, 1923 to the late Raymond and Willabalda (Eibner) Huelskamp in Ulm, MN. Ray was a 1941 graduate of New Ulm's Holy Trinity High School and a college graduate of St. John's University, Collegeville, MN. He had a successful 30 year career with P&G as a mechanical designer-first in Cincinnati, then in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and finally in Green Bay. Ray was most at home in the out-of-doors, the wilderness and his garden. In his youth he enjoyed summers working as a cook in Yellowstone Park. He had a lifetime love of gems and mineral collecting and indulged in jewelry making in his later years. Ray was a passionate skier and passed on this love to his children.
Survivors include his wife Betty Lou Huelskamp; Green Bay; six daughters, Willamarie Huelskamp, Elizabeth Huelskamp, Jeanne Huelskamp, all of Salt Lake City, UT; Theresa Huelskamp, Green Bay; Ann Huelskamp, New York City, NY; Linda Huelskamp, Salt Lake City, UT; two sons, Raymond Huelskamp, Seal Beach, CA; Robert Huelskamp, Oxnard, CA; six grandchildren, Marika, Jamie, Sonia, Nicole, Anika and Charlie; five brothers and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Huelskamp; two sisters, Billie Siefert and Margaret Donohue.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral, 1630 E. Mason St. from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. A Requiem Mass in the Traditional Latin Rite will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Chapel on the Green Bay Catholic Diocesan grounds, 1825 Riverside Dr. with Rev.
