Prausa, Roland

Roland Prausa, 90, of Oconto, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Woodlands of Oconto. Roland was born February 15, 1923 in Oconto to the late George and Vivian (Couillard) Prausa. He married Rita Wolfgram on March 12, 1955. Roland graduated from Lena High School. Roland served his country overseas in the US Navy during WWII. Roland worked for Procter & Gamble in Green Bay for twenty eight years. Hobbies include motorcycles, hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, riding bicycles, and camping in their motor home at Chute Pond. Roland was a member of First American Lutheran Church, Oconto and Oconto American Legion Jones Modrow Young Post #74.

Roland is survived by his wife, Rita Prausa, Oconto; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Smith, Oconto Falls; two sons, Faron (Cheryl) Prausa, TX; Scott (Wendy) Prausa, GA; two sisters, June Janosky, Oconto; Darlene (Darwin) Baldwin, Oconto; two sisters-in-law, Laura Prausa, Shawano; Ruth (Robert) Zimmermann, Manitowoc; brother-in-law Oscar (Judy) Wolfgram, Menasha; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herald, Duane, and William Prausa; sister, Betty Delcore; infant child, Inez Prausa; brother-in-law, Louie Janosky; and father and mother-in-law, Oscar and Erma Wolfgram.
