LeGare, Rosemary E.

Rosemary E. LeGare, 77, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 27, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born on September 25, 1935 in Green Bay to the late Frank and Vera Bienzen. In 1955, Rosemary married Lysle LeGare at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Green Bay, he preceded her in death in 1985. Rosemary and her husband owned Long Tail Marine in Green Bay. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer. Rosemary also loved to play bingo and try her hand at the occasional slot machine. She was a member of the Red Hatters for many years.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Jill) LeGare, Suamico; Julie (Kris) VanLaanen, Green Bay; and Jane (friend, Doug) Wold, Green Bay; grandchildren, Nicole (Justin) Parks and Bradley VanLaanen; brother, Francis (Sandi) Bienzen, Green Bay; sister, Patricia (Dirk) Cramer, Pound; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Lorraine) Bienzen; Leslie Bienzen; DeForest (Kay) Bienzen; Gordon Bienzen; Michael Bienzen; one infant brother and one infant sister.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. Memorial service 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

The family would like to thank Aurora VNA Hospice especially Denise, Michelle, Al, Lynn, Jen, Val and Sam for the special care given. Also a thank you to the staffs of Bellevue Assisted Living and Woodside Lutheran Home for all they did.
