McIntyre, Thomas L. "Mac"

Thomas L. "Mac" McIntyre, 73, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014.

He was born on April 20, 1940, the late Manuel & Elsie (Priewe) McIntyre.

Tom married Carol "Cookie" Mihm on May 8, 1965, in Green Bay.

He retired after 26 years from the Green Bay Fire Department as a captain in 1996.

Tom was an active member of fire department local union #141 and also served on the executive board of the RPFFW.

He is survived by two daughters, Susan & Wendy (Bill); granddaughters, Krystle (Rick) and Colleen; three great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Dolores) McIntyre and Joe (Pam) Bins; sisters, Alice (Joe) Lambert and Carol (Russ) Grassl; and many nieces and nephews; further survived by friend, Shirley DuFour and her family, Mike & Ann Kussow, Kipp & Tina Horsens, and Danielle DuFour and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cookie; step-father, George W. Bins; and three grandsons.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. The Green Bay Fire Department Honor Guard will conduct the bell ceremony followed by a funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00pm. The family would like to thank the staff of Green Bay Oncology especially Dr. Jaslowski and Marcie. Also, the staff of Unity Hospice and St. Mary's Hospital 3rd floor.
