He found his passion and became a fire inspector for the Village of Ashwaubenon and worked there for over 25 years. Paul was an avid outdoorsman and loved being "Papa" to his sweet granddaughter.

Paul is survived by his children, Jennifer Hawley (special friend, Nic Madsen) and Jacob Hawley; his granddaughter, Sophia Hawley; the mother of his children, Jody Hawley; his mother, Janice Hawley; one brother, Larry (Carrie) Hawley; niece and nephews, Steffen Hawley, Katherine Hawley, and Russell Hawley; and many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Russell Hawley and father-in-law, Jack Ahsmann.

Family and friends may call Friday, February 10, 2017 at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. My condolences to the Hawley family.

Paul was my first best friend. I gave my son the middle name of Paul in 1989. I am so happy that I was able to tell Paul that it was after him. I will miss you old friend.

Jennifer, Jacob & Jodi,

Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Paul was a fabulous person professionally and personally. His skills with fire inspections were very admirable. I worked with him when he was a volunteer firefighter and full-time inspector on the Fire and Public Safety Department for many years. I always enjoyed our conversation as well.

Regards,

Rick & Bonnie Buntrock

Prayers to you Jennifer, Jacob and Jodi. Our dear neighbors for many years. I was one of the lucky ones to be able to spend time with Paul either at the range or working some little project either he had, or I had going. Paul was always the first to stop over and offer a helping hand. Such a big warm open heart that he had for everyone in the neighborhood. Our sincere condolences, Mike, Sue, Derek and Brett.

Paul knowing you when you came to Goodman and hung out with Allen and I, we had a lot of fun together, then when you would inspect the building that I worked in, you were always a pleasure to talk to, and know, God Bless you and your Family, and rest in Peace. Bucky
