Adolph Bartoletti Obituary

Bartoletti, Adolph

Adolph Bartoletti, 94, Green Bay, passed away at Walnut Grove Assisted Living on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011. He was born in Iron Mountain, Mich., on May 10, 1917, to the late Ubaldo and Lucille (Delgalo) Bartoletti. Adolph married Geraldine Jones on Oct. 5, 1940, in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 2001. He spent his youth working in the Civilian Conservation Camps and then trained to be a carpenter in Milwaukee. Adolph moved to Green Bay in 1948, and worked at Millprint in De Pere and later at Lunda Construction. During his lifetime, he was a master carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a member of Carpenters Union 1146. Adolph loved to hunt, fish and he owned and loved horses; he was known to many as "Bart" or "Cowboy."

Survivors include his son, Ron "Bart" Bartoletti, Green Bay; daughter, Sally (Richard) Sleder, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Adolph was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine, his parents and three sisters and four brothers.

Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane. The memorial service led by Rev. Patrick N. Green will follow at 11 a.m. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
