Alice Scheels, 86, Green Bay, died Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born January 18, 1926, in Milwaukee to Antone and Helen (Chararkowsky) Tiry.
On May 17, 1947, she married Earl Scheels at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. She was employed at SuperValu Credit Union. Alice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She crocheted, played bridge, and was a member of a dance club in her younger years. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Norman and Diane Scheels, Madison; Alan and Raelene Scheels, Evergreen, Colo.; her step-grandchildren, Meile (Greg) Pochy, Venessa (Daniel) Cook; her step-great-grandchildren, Micaela, Noah, Matthew, Ciera, Jackson; a sister-in-law, Marge Scheels; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, on April 22, 2009.
Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, 330 S. Broadway, from 9 to 11 a.m., Friday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Michael Baucom officiating.
