Amber Ruth Ripple unexpectedly received her promised gift of eternal life on Monday, April 29, 2013, at the age of 28 in Stevens Point, WI
Amber, who was born in Milwaukee, WI as God's gift to Henry and Jodie Ripple (nee Knudson), was baptized and confirmed at Jordan Ev. Lutheran Church, West Allis, WI. She was a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Milwaukee, WI and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Sr. and Ruth Ripple and Shirley Knudson; step-grandparents Elmer Sr. and Marie Baacke; and her uncle, Dale Knudson.
Amber's memory is lovingly cherished by her survivors: parents/step-parents Henry (Tracy) Ripple, Jr., and Jodie (Elmer) Baacke; grandfather William Knudson; step-siblings David (Jody) Baacke, Linda (Greg) Buxa, Julie Hanrahan and Ashley Mueller. In addition, Amber is fondly remembered by many uncles, aunts, step-nephew, step-nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Following the service, Amber's earthly remains will be laid to rest in Shiloh Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay where they will await their glorious reunion with her spirit at the time of her resurrection when her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, triumphantly returns on the Last Day. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall lack nothing…even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
