Bonnie Lynne Schmidt, 67, entered into her mansion in Glory on December 17, 2013. She was born on May 7, 1946, graduating East Green Bay High School class of 1964. She attended UWGB receiving her bachelor's degree in Creative Communications in May 1971. She also earned a teaching certificate in elementary education. Bonnie was a long-time member of the Republican Party of Brown County and a staunch Republican. She was employed at EDS/Associated Bank from April 1977-January 2005 as an item processor. She made many friends there and was known as the "go to girl" in answering trivia questions particularly in music. She was a charter member of Celebration Church where she so enjoyed the music ministry, counsel of pastoral staff and uncompromising preaching of the Word of God by Pastors Arni Jacobson and later Mark Gungor.
She is survived by her brothers Robert (Marcia), Bruce (Nena); nephews David, Christopher and great nephew Grant. All three were the lights of her life. Also surviving her are Aunt Marilyn Seibert, Uncle David Schmidt and many cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Reuben and Joyce Schmidt, her grandparents Rolin (Maude) Seibert and Robert (Minnie) Schmidt. Although her beloved poodle Pierre preceded her in death she always said he would be waiting for her at the gates of Heaven.
Arrangements are being handled by Proko-Wall Funeral Home. Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of Bonnie's life during the summer of 2014.
Bonnie's family would like to thank the staff at Angels of Arcadian for the TLC during the last months of Bonnie's life.
