Oettinger, Carol J.

Carol J. Oettinger, 83, Green Bay, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. She was born December 30, 1929, to Stephan and Rachel (Depeau) Process.

Carol graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1948. She married Vincent V. Oettinger on September 21, 1949. Carol cared for Vincent for 10 years during his illness, until he preceded her in death on October 8, 2009. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish. Carol enjoyed playing Cribbage and Bingo. She loved spending time with her family and her little dog, Coco.

She is survived by her five children, Gary (Cherie) Oettinger, Thomas Oettinger, Linda (Pete) Vanderkam, Terry (Pam) Oettinger, and Wendy (Bernie) Baeb; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Delores "Bunky") Process and Dick Process; sister-in-law, Joanne Process; a brother-in-law, Mick (Judy) Oettinger; family friend, Laura; nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; her parents; three brothers, Willis, Orville and Lewis Process; her sisters, Lorraine Ehrfurth, Marie Williamson and Lucy Rienow; one grandson; and Vincent's brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Patrick C.
