Carol Rose Ave-Lallemant passed gently into the arms of her loving Savior Jesus on Nov. 6, 2013, after a lingering illness. Carol was born July 26, 1929, to Rev. and Mrs. L.J.Ave-Lallemant in Wayside, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Winfred Ave-Lallemant and his wife, Irene, Angelina Lochner and her husband, Herb, Eleanor Kruse and her husband, Harold and Walter Ave-Lallemant. Carol lived in Madison, Wis., in her early adult life. She worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Medical School at the University of Wisconsin. In the early 1960's Carol moved to Monterey, Calif., to be near her father who had retired there after 50 years pastoring churches here in Wisconsin. (27 years were at Zion Lutheran Church in Wayside.) Also, much of her extended family had settled in the Monterey area. Carol's interests were in music, reading, her faith pursuits, her family and her great love and talent for propagation of unusual flowers and succulents. She is survived by her sisters, Marcella Bordeleau, Green Bay; and Irene Guenther and husband, Carl, who blessed Carol's life with their love, kindness and special help in her years of needed assistance. Irene and Carl live in San Jose, where Carol also resided.
