Jameson, Clarice "Chris" Winona

Clarice "Chris" Winona Jameson, 82, of Green Bay, passed away on November 22, 2013. Chris was born on August 1, 1931 to the late Oscar and Florence Eichmann in Abrams, WI. Chris and her family moved to Green Bay where she graduated from West High School in 1949. Chris met John after his service in the Navy during the Korean War. Following the end of the war, they were married at Resurrection Lutheran Church of Green Bay in June of 1954. Chris was a lifetime member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.

Chris was first employed at City Hall in the clerk's office. She then worked as a secretary at Donovan School and later at Syble Hopp School. She dearly loved both the job and the children at these schools. After retirement, Chris continued at Syble Hopp School as a volunteer for three more years. She later began volunteering at Bellin Hospital which continued for 18 years. Chris and her husband, John, also volunteered at the Resurrection Lutheran Church Food Pantry for 22 years. When Chris wasn't volunteering she and John enjoyed their grandchildren, their many travels and their cottage on Legend Lake.

Chris is survived by her husband, John Jameson; a son, Gregg (Cindy) Jameson of Beaver Dam; a grandson, Eric (Laura) Jameson of Watertown; a granddaughter, Kristin of Sheboygan; great granddaughter, Myla Jameson; two nephews, Glenn (Sharon) Unsinn and Darrell (Donna) Unsinn; a niece, Cheryl (Rick) Mellen and sister- in -law, Dolly Peck.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Glenrose (Lee) Unsinn.

Visitation for Chris will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1024 Shawano Avenue, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Minister Ed Baseman officiating. Entombment will take place at Ft. Howard Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at
