Clarence Carl Perleberg, 91, Howard, died Monday, October 8, 2012. He was born July 27, 1921, in Kaukauna, to August and Katherine (Van Horn) Perleberg. On November 22, 1942, he married Arlene Loewe. Clarence served in World War II with the U.S. Army in Europe. He worked at Atlas Cold Storage for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Suamico. Clarence was a kind, gentle man who loved gardening, playing the accordion, and was an avid Packers fan. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends at his cottage at Island Lake. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his children, Bonnie (Dave) Olsen, Neenah; Donna (Bill) Stein, Green Bay, Wayne (Wendy) Perleberg, Howard; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Herb Perleberg; a sister, Mary Wickersheim; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Milda Nelson and her family.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; a daughter, Gail DeBauche; a son, David; and a granddaughter, Bobbi Jo DeBauche.
