Her husband, Butch preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2007.

Starting in the year 1999 and ending in 2008, Clarice spent summers as a missionary in Alaska, the "Last Frontier". She would spend from one month to six months teaching vacation bible school to the native Alaskan children with the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots and also with the Alaska Missions for Christ. Over the years she had visited 50 native villages in Alaska. She gave many presentations to Churches and organizations when she returned back to the "Lower 48". She was loved by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Jean and Melvin Quandt and Lois Gallenberger, both of Breed; and Dennis and Peggy Missall, Mountain; five grandchildren, Jamie Kumhala, Nick Gallenberger, Tim Gallenberger, Dion and Kirsten Missall and Kristi and Jake Godin. She also has seven great-grandchildren, Jay and Brody Kumhala, Hannah, Riley, Wesley and Miley Godin and Brynja Missall; two brothers, Eugene Wright and Thomas Wright; three sisters, Dalores Van Caster, Lylas Jeffalone and Pat Stayback. She is further survived by one brother in-law, Elton Giese; and two sisters-in-law, Bernice Missall and Nina Weickert; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
