Barth, David J.

David John Barth, 52, Green Bay, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday evening, October 5, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Earl and Mary (Lemmen) Barth in Green Bay on January 13, 1961, at St. Vincent Hospital. David attended SS. Peter and Paul Grade School, Edison Middle School and Preble High School. David worked as an industrial painter. We asked family and friends to give a one word description of David, the first words that came to their mind when they thought of him were…Loyal, Generous, Cool, Challenging, Strong & Tough. He was always there if you needed him, a great friend until the end. The majority of his friends have been a part of his life since they were all very young. He will be extremely missed by his family and friends. Dave was a good man, you always felt protected by him. He lived a very full life, just the way he wanted it to be, with lots of friends always around him. He is now at peace and so are we, knowing that he will be reunited with our Mom and Dad in Heaven.

Survivors include his son, Wesley Janelle, Clintonville; sisters, Sandy (Jim) Wesoloski, Sturgeon Bay, Mary Jo Pangrazzi, Green Bay; brothers, Doug and Tom, both of Green Bay; loving companion and care-giver, Dawn Verdegan; granddaughter, Justyce; brother-in-law, Mark Pangrazzi; nephews, Hunter (Sara) Wesoloski and Jordan Pangrazzi; niece, Kayla (Joey) Wilke; great-niece, Delaney, great-nephews, Wyatt Oliver, Leo, Morrison; Dawn's son, Jameson Verdegan; step-father, Richard "Dick" Russell, and his children, Larry(Julie), Kim(Susan), Brenda (Jon) and Tina; many wonderful aunts, uncles, and the best cousins ever! He is also survived by many, many loyal friends and two canine companions, Saint and Freebird.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandparents; aunts; uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E.
