Delores L. Burich, age 82, of Brillion, passed away on November 9, 2012 at Westhaven in Brillion surrounded by her family.

Delores was born on June 10, 1930 in Menasha, daughter of the late Edward and Isabella (Wolf) Tschantz. On May 10, 1951 she married John J. Burich in Brillion. John preceded her in death on September 15, 1977. Delores worked for over 40 years at the Calumet County Bank, becoming the first woman officer and holding that position for many years before her retirement in 1987. Delores loved going to the casino, fishing and spending time with her family. She was always willing to help, whether it was sewing for the family, making and donating afghans, ironing for church or counting the money from collection. Delores also loved to bake, often times making "the best chocolate chip cookies." She never allowed the cookie jar to empty.
Delores is survived by her four children and their spouses: Barbara (Steven) Schaeuble, Carole Burich, Chuck (Deb) Burich, all of Brillion, and Terri (Dave) Baith of Appleton; grandchildren: Andy (Becky) Foytik, Becky (Sean) Irish, Tony (Danielle) Foytik, Cole (Tara) Burich, Eric (fiance' Dani Kuntz) Burich, Kyla (Kurt) Stefan, Adam Baith, and Luke (Cathie) Baith; great-grandchildren: Bristol and Bryar Foytik, Tia, Chloe, and Mak Irish, and soon to be baby Stefan; step-grandchildren: Christopher (Megan) Schaeuble and PJ Schaeuble; four step-great-grandchildren; one brother and four sisters-in-law: Willard (Nathalie) Tschantz of Brillion, Helen Gosz of Green Bay, Mildred Orth of Manitowoc, and Alyce Ott of De Pere; one brother-in-law: Joseph Burich of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, her brother and sister-in-law: Roman (Sally) Tschantz, and other in-laws: John Gosz, Ray Orth, Fritz Ott, Julia (Ray) Grasser, and Mary (George) Kanter.
Funeral Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt with burial at Holy Family Parish Cemetery in Brillion.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m.
