Dolores Faina Obituary
Faina, Dolores

Dolores Faina - Our dear Dolores, so lovingly called Fee Fee, went on to Heaven on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Dolores was born on February 10, 1927, in Denmark, WI, where she attended grade school and was a graduate of Denmark High School.

Dolores led a life of serving others, caring for both of her parents until they passed away, as well as caring for her two sisters when they became ill. She served our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her entire life. She was a long time member of All Saints Parish in Denmark and St. Agnes Parish in Green Bay. Dolores was employed by FMC Corporation (Hudson Sharp) for several years, managing foreign shipments. She retired in the early 1990's. She then volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital.

Fee Fee did not have children of her own, but gave so much love to her nieces, grandnephews, grandniece, and their children. Oh how they all loved their Aunt Fee Fee! We would kid her about what a strong Bohemian woman she was, and that she was! She was a great story teller, from the time Grandpa wouldn't kill a mouse that he found in a milk vat at the dairy to the time she was eating left over dressing and found out from Grandpa, "there vas no dressing left" in his slavic accent. It was a bowl of dog food that had been placed in the fridge! She laughed with us and she cried with us.

Fee Fee was a huge Packers fan and attended many home games. She could be counted on to know all of the players' names and had plenty of advice for them each season.

Oh Fee Fee, you are already missed, but where oh death is your sting? Death has been swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:55. We will meet once again in Heaven. It is Our Lord's promise.

Dolores is survived by her niece, Judy Keller and husband, Pat; niece, Kathy Downham; niece, Jean Roskams and husband, Tim; grandniece, Mandy Barnett, and her children, Ramona and Patty; grandnephews, Eddie Oroyan and wife, Heather; Bill Oroyan and wife, Shana and their children, Kalaia, Kai and Liam; Ed Downham and wife, Yerge; and Robert Gagnon; nieces, Lynn, Patty, and Mary Jo; sister-in-law, Shirley Faina; and nephew, Michael Faina.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Martin Faina; her brothers, Joseph and Donald Faina; her sisters, Emilie Faina and Mildred Calkins; her brother-in-law, Edward Calkins; her niece, Patricia Calkins Barnett; and her puppies that she loved so much, Lady, Muffin and her dear Sadie.
