(De Lair) Laluzerne, Ellen N. "Ellie"

Ellen N. "Ellie" (De Lair) Laluzerne, 62, Green Bay, died Friday January 10, 2014. She was born February 5, 1951 in Green Bay to Donald and Dolly (Sweeney) De Lair. Ellie liked to have fun and made friends easily. She loved her job as a nurse. Some of her fondest memories include, wearing pink skates, swimming at Pamperin Park at the Beno Picnic, not being able to reach the pedals when seated on her 26 inch bike, racing in wheelchairs at St. Vincent's Hospital, playing yahtzee with her mom, knowing how nice her dad was to everyone and vacationing with her family at Columbia Lake in Waupaca. Ellie also enjoyed a long-time relationship with Tweety and was especially fond of the Four Seasons and the Beatles.

Not joining her on her final journey are her husband, Howard; two sons, Jamie and Jason; three beautiful grandchildren, Cole, McKenna and Isaiah - who brought her great joy and immeasurable happiness. Also not on this journey with her are her remaining siblings, Dona, Paul, Marcia, Ann, Steve and Mary - whose lives are better for having her in theirs and whose hearts will always be connected. She also leaves behind her dearest and loving friend, Maggie Birr, who contributed greatly to her well-being in recent years and made as many of Ellie's wishes come true as she could.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a Sharing of Memories at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

A message from Ellie: "To those who loved me- thank you. And to those who didn't-God loves you.
