Malecki, Ellyn L.

Ellyn L. Malecki, 73, Green Bay, went to eternal rest surrounded by her family after a short illness on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. She was born on July 27, 1939 in Green Bay to the late Harry and Josephine (Jacquet) Meggers. Ellyn married Andrew Malecki, Jr. on August 8, 1959 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Green Bay. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ellyn liked to travel, snowmobile, camp and spend time at their cottage on Lake Mary.

Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Andrew; four children, Michael (Lori) Malecki, Cindy (Gary) Baeb, Thomas (Laurie) Malecki, Sue Malecki and special friend, Randy Abitz; eight grandchildren, Stacey (Nick), Sarah (Kevin), Bryan, Kayla, Kevin, April, Danielle (Buchanon), Zachary; three great-grandchildren, Tyson, Collin, Brianna; three sisters, Edestein Dahlin, June Rifleman, Joanne (Roger) Van Calster; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Ellyn was preceded in death by a son, Steven Malecki, a granddaughter, April Malecki; a sister, Joyce Borremans, three brothers-in-law, Bernard Dahlin, Richard Rifleman and Al Borremans.

Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10 am until the funeral service at 1 pm with Chaplain Robert Nooker officiating. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. A memorial fund has been established in Ellyn's name.
